Yoga. While yoga offers great strength-building exercises, these poses load one side of the body with weight while extending the opposing side of the body.

Stretch Therapy is different.

Stretch Therapy is a gentle exercise that focuses on stretching without straining by using tools to help elongate and relax overly-contracted muscle tissue. 

This makes it accessible for everyone, no matter your activity level.

Stretching tools include both ordinary items in your home, like your wall, floor, or chair and specialized stretching tools like bolsters, blocks, or rollers.

Stretching elongates tight muscle tissue, allowing for greater blood flow and circulation.

As you begin to feel better, you’ll start sleeping better. 

When you aren't bent over in pain, you stand taller.

When your range of motion isn't restricted, you find freedom from feeling stuck inside your own body.

Stretch Therapy changed my life.

In 2017, I injured my hip.

I fell while bowling during a game at my Ladies Bowling League. I knew I had done something serious to it when I woke up the next morning and could barely walk. 

The pain ran from my hip to my low back, and it was extremely INTENSE. My husband had to help me get around—the pain was so intense, that I couldn't do anything on my own without him.

I tried just about everything to ease the pain... doctor visits, chiropractic appointments, physical therapy, acupuncture, and deep tissue massages.

But nothing brought real relief.

One day, I noticed the stretching roller tool that my boys had given me for Christmas; it was still in the corner of my bedroom in its packaging. I decided to give it a try.

After a few weeks of daily stretching my lower body muscles using the roller… 

The results were astounding!

I couldn’t believe it... I was back in action! The pain was gone, I could walk and get around on my own again, and I was back to teaching my fitness classes.

I experienced, firsthand, the real relief that can come from Stretch Therapy.

In the Daily Pause Online Workshop, we use a bolster, block, and roller. While we do show you how to make your own DIY block or bolster at home in the workshop, we highly recommend investing in these stretching tools.
